Description: The Idaho Hockey Foundation, and the Idaho Junior Steelheads, are pleased to announce the formation of a new Junior "A" team that will play at the Manchester Ice & Event Centre for 11 games this coming season. Beginning Fall 2009, our franchise, The Idaho Junior Steelheads will compete in a 50-game regular season in the Western States Hockey League (WSHL). The WSHL has two Divisions: Western Division & Mid-Western Division. The WSHL is a developmental league for Junior "A" players ages 16-20 who are actively and ultimately aspiring to play at the collegiate or professional levels of Hockey.
