The McCall Area Chamber works with local businesses, citizen groups and the city governments of McCall and outlying communities, promoting the McCall area, events and activities which drives traffic up our major highways, running through Valley and Adams County’s
Here are some statistics and accomplishments that you benefit from by just being a business in McCall. To make it happen it requires a dedicated all volunteer board with good working relationship with the below entities, a paid Office Staff and Events Director that is solely dependent on our membership dues.
Idaho Tourism Council (ITC) $55,000
- Advertising Campaign – “McCall where your adventure begins”
- $25,000 Summer Advertising Campaign, Treasure Valley
- $25,000 Winter Advertising Campaign, Treasure Valley
- $ 5,000 in Website upgrades promoting McCall Area, Snowmobiling and Cross Country Skiing
South West Idaho Tourism Association (SWITA)
- Covers all but a 12.5% matching funds for:
- Snowmobile consumer shows
- Alpine Ski shows
- Golf Consumer shows
Local Option Tax (LOT) $18,200
- $12,000 match funds, $6,000 to match ITC grant for 4th of July Fireworks
- $1,200 Mountain Rescue Workshop, used for 4th of July Fireworks
- $5,000 Winter Carnival Fireworks
