The Baum Shelter is ready to serve all your back country needs, year round, 7-Days a week! We are located in the historical mining town of Warren.

The Baum Shelter (Too)  offers a full menu, including breakfast every weekend and weekly specials, overnight accommodations and helps sponsor many town functions (i.e. Crab Feed, Town Party, 4th of July, Father’s Day, etc). We have overnight accommodations, food, drinks, fuel, and some of the best UTV/ATV/Snowmobile riding around! Call, email, or find us on Facebook for more information!

The town of Warren was established in 1862 when gold was discovered and it is the 5th oldest town in Idaho. The Chinese population was around 1,300 in the 1870’s. They placer mined and farmed around Warren. In the 1930’s the Dredges came and stayed until 1941, when mining was halted because of the war. One of the original dredges is accessible to visit today out at The Dredge Ponds. Read more Warren history on our website and see the historical artifacts collection at The Baum Shelter.

We hope to see you in Warren soon!
